Olympic Summit hears updates on anti-doping work from WADA, ITA

The 13th Olympic Summit was held here on Saturday as participants discussed a series of topics related to the Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement, including the anti-doping work of World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Testing Agency (ITA).
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) released the communique of the Summit, which has 30 items under various topics including the achievements of Paris 2024, the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games, and the Olympic Esports Games.
According to the communique, WADA president Witold Banka delivered a report emphasizing the importance of collaboration of all the athletes around the world to fight against doping. He gave an update on the process of adopting the Cottier Report and the World Aquatics Audit Report as part of the World Anti-Doping Code, as well as the review of the 2027 Code.
