        A fire broke out in a unit in Fu Cheong Estate, Sham Shui Po. It was extinguished by fire fighters and one person suffered from smoke inhalation.
        
        At about 7:30 Sunday, a fire broke out in a mid-rise unit in Fook Lai House in Fu Cheong Estate, with thick smoke rising.
        
        Firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving the report, but no one answered the door of the unit where the fire broke out. They broke into the unit and sent out a team to put out the fire. The fire was extinguished after 18 minutes. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
        
        During the fire, a 73-year-old woman suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to Caritas Hospital by ambulance for treatment. About 50 residents evacuated on their own. The police are contacting the owners of the units involved to understand the situation.
