Trump is using Colombia as an example on deportation

U.S. President Donald Trump is
using Colombia as an example to tell the world what would happen
if other countries refuse to accept deportation flights, a White
House source told Reuters on Sunday.
Trump said earlier on Sunday he would impose sweeping
retaliatory measures on Colombia, including tariffs and
sanctions, after the South American country turned away two U.S.
military aircraft with migrants being deported as part of the
new U.S. administration's immigration crackdown.
"Absolutely. Yes. Countries have an obligation to accept
repatriation flights," the source said when asked if Trump was
using Colombia to set an example. "The United States is simply
sending back the criminals that Colombia sent to the United
States."
