Iraq holds oil, gas tech exhibition

An oil and gas technology exhibition kicked off in Iraq on Sunday, attracting 66 international energy firms.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior Iraqi government officials, representatives of diplomatic missions, and energy experts from Iraq and abroad, according to a statement by the Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services.
Mustafa al-Ani, director general of the Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services, said that the event embodies the Iraqi government's commitment to supporting international partnerships and localizing technology in the energy sector.
The exhibition provides a real opportunity to showcase the latest global technologies in the fields of exploration, drilling, production, processing, and transportation, as well as the digital transformation of energy, he said.
The four-day exhibition, with the participation of 66 international companies specializing in oil, gas, and energy from around the world, will run from Sunday to Wednesday.
