Chinese FM extends condolences to Philippine counterpart over ferry sinking

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday sent a message of condolence to Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ma. Theresa Lazaro over the sinking of a passenger ferry in the country.



In his message, Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said that the recent ferry sinking accident in the Philippines has resulted in casualties and property losses.



He expressed mourning for the deceased and conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved families and the injured.
