Local - Man Arrested by Customs for Smuggling 3 Cats into Hong Kong

A 53-year-old man was arrested by customs officers for allegedly smuggling three cats into Hong Kong through the Lo Wu border crossing.



customs officers intercepted the man at the Lo Wu control point and found three illegally imported cats in his backpack.



The estimated market value is approximately HK$75,000.



The case has been transferred to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department for further investigation.
