5.0-magnitude quake hits Hokkaido, Japan -- GFZ

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Hokkaido, Japan, at 1632 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.



The epicenter, with a depth of 41.1 km, was initially determined to be at 41.06 degrees north latitude and 143.20 degrees east longitude.
