DR Congo PM hails infrastructure cooperation with China in boosting connectivity

Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Judith Suminwa Tuluka has praised infrastructure cooperation between the DRC and China, saying it has continued to drive the African country's economic and social development by improving domestic transportation and strengthening regional connectivity.

Tuluka made the remarks on Tuesday during a visit to the Kinshasa ring road project, which is being constructed by Chinese companies.

She noted that she has visited several cooperation projects between the two countries in different parts of the country, which reflect the efforts and expertise of Congolese and Chinese builders and represent important outcomes of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.

According to the prime minister, infrastructure development plays an important role in improving urban efficiency, facilitating the movement of people and goods, and supporting regional economic development.
