Yesterday, the second day of the Chinese New Year, the Immigration Department said that as of 9pm Thursday, more than 909,000 people had entered and exited the country through various ports.



Of these, nearly 516,000 people left the country, with Hong Kong residents accounting for the largest number, reaching 377,000. Most people left the country via the Lo Wu Port, with nearly 71,000 people, and about 36,000 people left the airport.



As for the inbound arrivals, there were more than 392,000 people, of which Hong Kong residents accounted for the majority, with more than 186,000 people. At the same time, there were about 180,000 Mainland tourists. The largest number of people came to Hong Kong via the West Kowloon Station of the High Speed ​​Rail, with more than The second largest port of entry was the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Port, with more than 28,000 passengers.
