Wild pigeons in To Kwa Wan had their wings and feathers clipped off

Wild pigeons were found to have their wings and feathers clipped in To Kwa Wan. This is the second case in five days. The police are following up on this case of cruelty to animals. No one has been arrested so far.
Police reported that at around 7pm last night, a passerby was walking along Ma Tau Wai Road near Farm Road in To Kwa Wan when he spotted a wild pigeon walking on the sidewalk. The feathers on its wings and tail were suspected to have been cut off. The passerby put the pigeon in a cardboard box and called the police.
Police officers and SPCA staff arrived at the scene after receiving the report. SPCA staff later took the pigeon away for inspection. The police are following up on the case as cruelty to animals. No one has been arrested yet.
This is the second similar case in five days. Last Wednesday, a wild pigeon was found on Tai Yuen Street in Wan Chai and its wings were allegedly clipped.
